Whaaat?! So you really want to know more about me? I’m warning you, I’m really boring.

(It’s kind of awkward to talk about myself.) My name is Tessi (yay, I’ve finally decided to reveal my real name) & I just graduated from high school! I’m now moving on to study law at university. English is not my native language; instead, I’m a small-town girl from Germany who spent some part of her life living in a boarding school in the UK and – due to strange circumstances – ended up in the book blogging world. I love LOVE reading books in all shapes and forms, particularly YA and fantasy novels with some romance in it and…you get the idea. I usually devide my time between reading and eating cakes. Especially cupcakes.

I also love watching Gossip Girl. Seriously, I don’t think there’ll be such an amazing TV show again. Ever. In addition, I have a soft spot for tea, hot chocolate and sunny days (I mean, c’mon, my hometown in Germany has the highest amount of precipitation per year, and I wasn’t too amused with the English weather, either). My biggest dream is to travel most parts of the world one day, especially Eastern Europe and Asia. Also, I love all things French. Parles-tu français? (FYI, I don’t.)

If you really want to learn more about me and my life beyond blogging, here’s a list with some random facts about me.

  1. Oh my word, I was obsessed with Gossip Girl. I binge watched it, and I am utterly, irreversibly in love with Chuck Bass!!!

    1. Same here!!!!! ♥ (Although I do have to say the series finale was a little bit disappointing. But I still love the series though!)
But ehm, no. Nate is WAAAAAY hotter than Chuck Bass. Nate Archibald ftw!!! 😀 Oh, and Ed Westwick’s voice was soooo weird during the first seasons of Gossip Girl. I think he was trying to speak with a hoarse voice on purpose then to conceal his British accent but ultimately, it sometimes felt as if he was just mumbling around! 😀 It always sounds so strange when people from the UK try to speak with an ‘American accent’.

      1. True. Oddly enough, Daniel Radcliffe sounds BETTER with an American accent IMO. I’m really looking forward to watching him in ‘Horns’. Normally his voice grates on me.

I wish they hadn’t effectively cut Jenny out of the last couple of seasons of Gossip Girl. I think it was more to do with her music commitments? But I liked her character a lot!

    1. Wuhuu, danke! 🙂 Jaa, nach ein paar Jahren englisches Internat war ich mir einfach nicht sicher, ob ich auf englisch oder deutsch schreiben sollte. Ich guck gleich auch mal bei deinem Blog vorbei :b
